He retired from owning and managing several successful companies, including the manufacturing divisions of two NYSE corporations. Following retirement in 1998, Jim and his wife Gill founded Mackinaw Trolley Company, which they sold after nine years of growth and adventure. Recently, Jim joined Prudential Preferred Properties Network and is helping establish a Mackinaw City office, concentrating on commercial properties.
